Advanced Makerspaces for Micro-Enterprises: Your Opinion Matters
Early-stage micro-enterprises often have strong ideas but face significant challenges when turning those ideas into real, working prototypes. Through the AMPLE project – Advanced Makerspaces for Pilot production by micro-Enterprises, partners across Ireland, Finland and Iceland are working together to improve access to advanced makerspace technologies that can help innovators design, test and refine their products more efficiently.
To make sure this work truly reflects the needs of innovators, Future Cast is launching a short survey for micro-enterprises and early-stage entrepreneurs.
The survey explores:
- how businesses currently develop prototypes
- what tools and facilities they have access to
- what challenges they encounter along the way.
Insights gathered will help shape practical supports for small innovators working in sectors like wearables, sensors, and the built environment:
- technical training
- access to advanced makerspace tools
- online expert guidance etc.
By taking a few minutes to complete the survey, you can directly influence how future makerspace solutions are designed and delivered. Your input will help ensure that the next generation of makerspaces truly supports micro-enterprises in transforming ideas into market-ready products – faster, smarter and closer to home.
