JJ O'HARA
JJ is the CEO at Future Cast, specializing in building contracts, manufacturing, and tech projects. One of the Founding members of WDC, was on the board for youth, 26 years ago. Lived in USA for 10 years and ran a Construction business. Moved back to Ireland and set up a Construction company and Tourism business based in the Northwest.
Mary Whitney
Mary is the Director of Education at Future Cast. With an extensive background in education and stakeholder management, Mary plays a crucial role in driving the company’s mission to innovate and elevate industry standards through research and development. Mary also leads on several European projects, reflecting her commitment to broadening the company’s impact on a global scale.
Patrick O'Donnell
Patrick is the Head of Research & Development at Futurecast. He has worked for 10 years in the Construction Industry as a Project Engineer and Civil Engineer. He also worked within the Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Industry for several years as a Project Engineer and Facilities Site Lead managing Energy Projects & Utilities Maintenance.
Shaune Glackin
Shaune is a Chartered Accountant since 2017. He has 10 years experience working in Construction and over 10 years working in Accounting and Finance. He has a BEng in Civil Engineering from Queens University Belfast (2003). In Future Cast he is responsible and accountable for the financial performance of the business with key focus on the effective operation of the accounting and financial control activities.
Mamta Bhardwaj
Mamta Bhardwaj is Digital Marketing Manager at Future Cast. She has an education background in electronic and communication engineering and has worked with MNCs in software development. She changed her career path by pursuing Master’s in Management and Marketing. In Future Cast she takes care of marketing, content creation & strategy. She is a creative person and involved in marketing of WICQI and organizing events.
Ylenia Morselli
Ylenia has solid 5 years experience in training providing the Irish AEC/Construction sector with 30% funding towards ICT courses’ fee to decrease skills’ gap, increase employees’ retention and to build a more digitized, greener and safer industry and over 10 years experience in digital marketing, event management, customer service excellence and finance in various sectors: charity, audit, online payments and construction.
Dave Plunkett
David brings over a decade of wide-ranging experience as a geologist, having worked for Irish and multinational companies in the mineral exploration and geotechnical industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Geology and Chemistry) from The National University of Ireland, Galway, along with a master’s degree in Geochemistry from the University of Leeds. At Futurecast, Davids is running the Materials Testing Laboratory as well as helping to design experiments as we work towards the green, and just, transition.
Patricia Mc Padden
Patricia has worked for local community development groups and has been involved with many projects and businesses in the North Leitrim area. She was a support worker with vulnerable groups. In Future cast takes care of administrative work, accounts, bookkeeping, payroll securing funding etc. She very closely works with our CEO JJ’ O Hara as a Personal assistant. She is also involved with networking with various organizations such as LCC, LDCO, and funding bodies.
Mark McGowan
Mark has over 23 years’ experience as a cabinet maker in the Wood Technology sector and has extensive knowledge of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) milling/manufacturing processes. Mark achieved a BSc in Advanced Wood Technology and sustainable construction followed by a B.A. (Hons) in Industrial Design. Mark has been involved in the 3D technology world since 1999 and 3D printing since 2013. Mark is now working on 3D concrete printing research and development within Future Cast
